If you want to do something really big with your life, then studying & thinking about a bit of world history through the context of human achievement would likely be useful. You’ll gain a deeper sense of how much activity & progress can predictably happen over time, on larger scales of human achievement. Like development & destruction of societies, for example. It is one good context & perspective to have for your pursuit of massive personal achievements. Kind of irrelevant to my new hedonistic life now, but for my intellectual enjoyment, I’m glad I did some of this over the years.

If you want to have a shot at making a fucking boat load of money, then pursue time-leveraged opportunities of value. This is where your consistent compensation is not directly related to your investment of time. The same effort could actually make you $10k, $100k, $1MM, or $10MM.

However, there is a difference in the mindset, strategies, & implementation of the self-employed versus professional entrepreneurs. Most all self-employed people have the identity & skillset for only earning a decent middle class living. If you want to become wealthy, then you’ll want to develop the identity & skillset of a professional entrepreneur along with expertise within your specific business or investment opportunity. In this position, with persistence, you can scale the economics and actually predictably pursue major wealth over time.

How many people actually know that you personally exist out in the world? How many people actually even think about you periodically? Even 1,000 people is just 0.0000001 of the world. Which makes you 0.0000000001 of the current human population and 0.00000000001 of the total historical human race.

Let me make a pact with the human race… I’m only good for my personal pleasure. If you happen to align with that, then we may be of value to one another. If not, then let’s simply leave each other be.

I used to only primarily see the raw mechanics of artistic expressions and it made most everything look extremely stupid. Now, over the years, I’ve been transformed into being able to feel the internal vibe, which makes the external mechanics make a lot of sense and be very enjoyable. I went from having the mindset of an alien from outer space to a worldly human being.

In the past, I would have never personally considered doing something like artistry or performance, however, now I “get it” and could really truly love this shit. There just might be too much pleasure for me to deny in performing live music. I’m going to go down this road in the future.

One of the factors that consistently separates experts from amateurs & masters from experts is the ability develop effective strategies that adjust to real world custom implementation…

Amateurs are often right about directly producing end results, but fail with the subtle variable realities of implementation. Experts gain proficient capability here and can often produce effective strategies that adjust to these factors. Masters go beyond and often have diagnostic frameworks for calculating the multifactorial odds with very wide & deep scenarios of custom implementation. This note describes the general path to mastery.

Trying to change the people in your life into the people you want them to be is usually a big waste of time and can easily be a big negative strain on your happiness. It is often better to just find somebody new with the built-in traits you desire.

People who demand a comprehensive experience of their desires in each individual person are likely going to have a hard time pulling this off. This becomes relatively easy if you componentize your desires & relationships in life.

Consistently experiencing a total abundance of all the things you like, in pieces, is going to produce a lot more happiness than only ending up with a compromise, after attempting to change & mold a few people that you think you may have leverage over.

Cultivate integrated experiences over years & decades. Go get your componetized desires fulfilled within weeks & months. Many good cool people are out there strongly desiring to engage in at least one of the things you’d love to add to your life. Go add a dozen of those delicious pleasure sources to your life this year, if you please. That’s available to you now.

I consistently see lots of people creating meaningless busywork for themselves because they consistently don’t have the knowhow or motivation for effectively pursuing what truly lights them up inside. I can often do this too, yet along with pursuing my dreams.

After a while, for many people, this becomes ingrained as a mental pattern & life routine that they depend upon. Like some people are always habitually cleaning & organizing their homes. Some of it might be due to logical preference, but another big driver is often the ingrained personal habit.

What is the return of happiness on that kind of habit? How about the opportunity cost? Where’s your dreams at dudezzzzzz? Step off the rat wheel.

A key trait & skill in life is to not take other people’s words personally in a negative way, even if they are dead wrong & going against your personal morals. A perspective that I like to take is simply viewing what people say as an independent statement of their beliefs. That’s it. Nothing more. They’re just spontaneously telling me what they believe in.

Everyone has a set of beliefs that I don’t agree with. So if it happens to be something I wouldn’t like, if took personally, then I can simply think & say something like “You sure do have interesting beliefs”. This can help reframe it for you & them that what they are saying is simply a belief of their own and not something you buy into or accept into your mind. Just something of theirs that you took a brief moment to inspect intellectually on its surface.

If your lives happen to be intertwined in a way where their beliefs can lead to damage for your quality of life, then it is time to restructure your life so that it is free from their negative influence. As best as you realistically can, only be open to the positive & pleasurable influence of others.

In order to be able to accomplish most things in life, you at least have to believe you can. Otherwise, you’ll never seriously figure out how you can or even attempt to pull it off. Be careful what you believe can’t be accomplished in your life. You might be automatically cutting yourself off from a much happier life that you could have had before ever truly finding out. Make most of your firm judgments about life after you’ve gained credible expertise & experience. Not before.

When you get opportunities to do things that light you up in life, it can make it hard to buckle-down & focus on doing the everyday work necessary to build your life to the next level. A lot of people have to consciously or subconsciously suppress the inspired side of themselves in order to consistently perform on their work tasks. Many stubborn achievement oriented people often don’t want to admit this, but it is so true. I’m finding this dynamic of mindset happening in my life more & more. The peak experiences of pleasure that align with your unique personal identity are like a strong drug. These are the times where I envy those successfully achieving through their direct passions. This note outlines it well.

When my philosophy & identity flipped in 2010 from humanitarian to hedonist, all of the impact & significance stuff went out the window and what remained were essentially personal pleasure, connection, & my hedonistic rebel brand. There are less sources of meaning in my life, but the emotion & happiness is more potent. You could say that I imploded and gained the sucking power of a black hole. I really like this life now. ;-)

The requirement for personal financial resources cripples the beautiful life visions of so many people around the world. If one doesn’t want to waste their life trading away most of their time for money, then there are two general paths a person can pursue, including a mix of both…

1) Pursue time-leveraged economic opportunity (typically via clear market demand) because it has solid technical odds of success, considering your personal position. This is the most predictable path based on external factors.

2) Pursue your passions and attempt to find ways to generate economic opportunities out of them. There might prove to be little or lots of economic opportunity that vibes with living your passions, but at least your time is invested in a fun experience.

How good could it get if 75% or more of your waking hours could be spent directly pursuing & living a precise lifestyle you strongly desire, where the money requirement is handled. It’s worth persisting for and not conforming to a life structure based on the traditional socioeconomic pressures of trading your daily life away in exchange for a common living.

I believe there exists in most of us, if not virtually all of us, triggers of mental pleasure that are so potent that they can often cause exceptional physical responses from our bodies, like shivering, goosebumps, drooling, & loss of muscle control, etc. I’ve luckily found one of them for myself. If you’d like to discover these outrageously potent sources of pleasure within yourself, then setup your laboratory of mental pleasure and start experimenting with yourself. Don’t be afraid to get a bit naughty & taboo, either. It’s your mind to explore. ;-)

I’ve spent years now obsessively digging into various social sciences with a focus on mastering the subjects of human nature & human achievement. Beyond intellectual curiosity, I’ve done so in the pursuit of directly aiding my high standard of personal goals & quality of life. I’ve studied other areas of science, technology, & achievement, as well, out of intellectual interest. However, as I always thought it one day would, my interest seems to be growing in human biology.

I think I might start getting into studying the depths of biology & surrounding fields, sooner than later. My purpose, beyond intellectual curiosity, would be to strategically focus on the fundamental problem of human aging. We are simply machines that wear out or are attacked by disease. We effectively engineer & repair manmade mechanical & social systems that are often super complex, so why not the human body and ultimately human brain too? I’d like to get into it.

There is ultimately more pleasure in loving someone than being loved by someone. When you love, the pleasurable emotion exists inside of you. When you are loved, it exists inside of another. I may love cherry pie, but a slice of cherry pie can’t love me back, and it doesn’t need to in order for me to experience the pleasurable feelings. How good could it get if you gave up feeling rejected when you aren’t loved back in life and simply pursued the feeling of love.

Deadlines are often a killer of otherwise pleasurable endeavors. This is because deadlines & time constraints often force a person to cut out much or all of their creativity & sense of enjoyment of the ongoing experience. Even the quality of life for highly successful people can be cheapened by the deadlines surrounding their work & hobbies. Keep control of the terms for implementing the process you’re involved in as you build your life.

After a lot of observation, experience, & study of human nature over the years, I no longer believe in long-term agreements & relationships, based on prior premises, whether in business or personal life. The inherent system of life, society, & human motivation are too dynamic for most of these things to remain stable & intact for the long-term.

If you want long-term results with somebody, then it takes ongoing renewal & demonstration of value & motivation with all parties for what is keeping you together. If a person isn’t as appreciative or excited as they once were, then the structure of their identity & life, or their expected value within your arrangement, might not be what it once was when starting out with them.

No matter what promises & words are said, this is the default of how most arrangements between people go. Just accept this fact and plan the long-term success of your desired life around this common variable.

Second, craft the concrete & realistic plan of goals, strategy, & consistent action needed to make all the trouble & effort worth it to you, and ultimately provide you the ongoing lifestyle & emotional experience you truly desire out of life.

Third, take consistent action according to your plan, develop your capability for taking more powerful action, and continue improving upon the effectiveness of your strategy.

I’m working on crafting a real personal mindset & attitude that I am a fucking idiot and am stupid. Why? Because it effectively incapacitates many social self-defense mechanisms of the ego and it allows you to act more authentically & hedonistically without suppressing your true self out of fear of rejection.

If you already identify yourself internally & externally as a dumb idiot, then it removes the emotional charge associated with verbal & character attacks from others. There is nothing left to socially defend about yourself. You’ve destroyed the target and deleted the vulnerability. It is a strategic shortcut to very high levels of genuine confidence.

On top of all that, you still get to be happy, love yourself inside, and take the actions in your life that truly light you up & attract other quality people who love you for exactly who you are, unfiltered. So I’m very proud to be a true fucking dumbass of a human being. :P

Million dollar ideas run a dime a dozen. Want to know how to predictably get rich? Professionally pursue the direct acquisition and/or development of economic assets beyond your own personal labor. As one lonely human being, your hard work & labor won’t scale. There’s already a plethora of existing commercial demand, economic assets, & financial capital out in the world just waiting to be further utilized. Learn, test, grow, achieve. And follow Gordon Gekko’s advice… “I own.”

There exists an interesting strategic art of persuasion for influencing mainstream people by crafting communications that balance & integrate facets of emotional charge and common reasonability. As everyday people grow up, they often do this more naturally to help sway people. Yet, professional marketers & influencers manage to engineer this stuff into weapons of mass persuasion.

The basic notion of positive psychology is great, but I feel that explosive breakthroughs for manufacturing one’s full human potential for happiness are going to be stifled by the traditional perspectives on life that many mainstream people have, which most academics happen to be. Instead of subconsciously aiming to produce knowledge & wisdom for the mainstream within the confines of our present day society, which is a moving target over the decades & centuries, I think fields of study like this should be taking on more deep natured, comprehensive, and timeless approaches to their pursuits.

How about a simple bottom-line perspective of viewing the human being as an autonomous biological machine to strategically extract more performance of pleasure & happiness from in an ongoing, predictable, & healthy way.

Do I still have to do all the heavy lifting myself in this area? Can’t more intelligent people realize this before the Age of Personal Exploration makes it crystal clear? Once this age comes to fruition, presently quirky identities & lifestyles of strategic hedonism, fetishes, eccentricities, etc, will likely be accepted as mainstream wisdom & commonsense for creating a customized life of personal happiness. Extreme happiness is worth going alternative for and facing mainstream rejection.

When I was younger, up through my early twenties, I couldn’t truly appreciate many subtle & pleasurable qualities of everyday life. My mind usually appreciated functionality, big achievements, & hedonistic bombs of pleasure. Now, I’ve added an appreciation for many potent subtleties that I once missed in life. For example, the pleasurable complexities of experience that can be achieved with sound/music are amazing. Applying this principle to social interactions can be amazing too. It takes a clear & happy mindset to sense & derive this type of pleasure, but it can often be damn good. I hope to find many more of these in life.

Without advanced brain manipulation technology, we can’t create our emotions directly. So, for now, emotions are an effect of the current contents of our mind. If you want a different short-term or long-term emotional experience in your life, then you must deal with the cause behind the effect. Look towards your thoughts, beliefs, habits, & capabilities. Then work on your tangible life experience. Your emotional experience stems from these elements.

Here’s the general path to mastering almost any study…

1) Get the general gist & vague mechanics of the subject down well, to become an amateur.

2) Deeply study the detailed mechanics of how it comprehensively works, to become an expert.

3) Develop ultra sharp wisdom not offered in conventional teachings by relating, integrating, & unifying the meaning of mechanisms, to become a master.

Progress to great personal accomplishment within each paradigm, objectively assess & test yourself along the way, and you’ll likely end up becoming world class. It will take years, if not decades, so get going.
