Journal for Thursday, May 20th, 2010

Worked on video podcasting technical stuff today. I’m currently working on getting iTunes feeds in place for my podcasts. I want to maximize this, so I’m taking the time to get everything done right and create compelling descriptive information for each podcast. I also found out that my latest video podcast episodes, here & here, are too high definition for a lot of people’s computer processors to handle playing straight from my website. This really sucks and I will have to figure out what I want to do to resolve this soon, because I want people to be able to watch my video podcasts without problems, but I also want quality without having to embed third party players.

Also, tonight, a friend encouraged & inspired me to write out a statement of what I’m looking for in an amazing girlfriend, or what I call my “rebel girlfriend”. This exercise proved to be extremely awesome & pleasurable. I’m very glad she brought it up to me tonight in the way that she did. My marketing training & self-knowledge really helped me write out an influential statement that nails exactly what I want that would light me up and fulfill me like crazy. So good. ;-)

I think I’m in a mindset these days to continue engaging in militant productivity as well as my desires, which is the best of both worlds. :D

Journal for Wednesday, May 19th, 2010

Got up bright and early this morning and got started with being productive. After working out, I worked all day long on creating & publishing a new Human Nature Podcast episode I called The Pursuit of Greatness Will Be Judged, where I share about how & why it is common for people to negatively judge others when pursuing great things within their life. This took a total of about 10 straight hours of work to produce, but I diligently accomplished it. I’m finding it quite fun to create & publish videos online like this. Much more than I thought it would be. If nothing else right now, it will help me become a better presenter and increase my SEO positioning. However, I hope my video content can also have an impact on some people too. Also, later tonight I went for a 7 mile bike ride which was energizing. It is always fun to go for bike rides when the sun is setting. Since I didn’t get much sleep last night, I’m going to try to go to bed now. I hope you had a good day too. ;-)

Journal for Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

After getting a late start on my day, I had a solid workout of quads & triceps. I hung out for most of the afternoon. Then I got to work on initiating a new video podcast episode for my personal website. I took a bike ride to the park this evening where I completed the notes for the podcast. I did not get to recording it tonight, like I had hoped. I decided to go to bed early tonight in order to wake up early tomorrow and complete this new podcast episode. I’m excited about doing more videos soon! :D

Journal for Monday, May 17th, 2010

I had a solid day of productivity. I kicked it off by waking up early and knocking out a solid chest & abs workout for my stacked physique commitment. Later, I had to push through to accomplish more but I ended up making some good work progress on odds & ends, along with studying more financial accounting. Although most of today was boring, today primarily served as a successful opportunity to maintain my sleep schedule and step up to the plate to be diligent when it wasn’t fun to do. I succeeded, so good day.

Today’s Notes

Monday @ 1:04pm ET – When you are working on building your own dream, compared to someone else’s, hard work becomes much more fulfilling. Within your work, you can directly feel the progress of your own dreams coming true. Your personal power can rapidly compound through this. Are you building your dream or have you sold your life to the man?

Journal for Sunday, May 16th, 2010

I was up all night yesterday which blended into today for me where I was up all day until nighttime. Today, I finally published my first Personal Podcast episode to the world here on my personal website, titled I Suck at Video Presentation. That took some diligent work to finally produce but I am very happy about the end product. This process mentally freed me up to pump out more content on a regular basis now. Most all the technical issue have been resolved and I personally feel ready to do so. I relaxed and took care of odds & ends stuff throughout the rest of the day today and am now back on my day schedule after staying up for 1.5 days. I also got an idea for my next video podcast that I plan to create soon, which should be a good one. :D

Today’s Notes

Sunday @ 1:55pm ET – I sometimes forget how emotionally & conceptually underdeveloped most people are. This is vital infrastructure for what they really want in life. They act put together on the surface, yet they just don’t get it. For your own sake, I hope you do.

Journal for Saturday, May 15th, 2010

Today was a night schedule for me and merged into tomorrow for me. Tonight, I very diligently spent a lot of hours editing & finalizing this video podcast. I also had to get a lot of technical web infrastructure setup to properly publish this first podcast episode of mine. I pushed past all of the hurdles of doing so and got the job done. Now, I am setup with process to begin producing more podcast episodes, which I definitely plan to do. This was all I did today, which took a lot of time & diligence to complete. It is good to be diligent, due to the rewards that come from it when properly invested.

Journal for Friday, May 14th, 2010

Woke up late tonight and enjoyed a bike ride that motivated me. After getting back from my bike ride, I sat down and recorded my first video podcast episode. This video is going to be about how I suck at presenting on video. This was strategic in the personal impact that it can have on me by lowering my own expectations and engaging in greater production. The shooting of this video went so smoothly that I’m now feeling a lot more confidence in creating future videos. This is a meaningful breakthrough for me, since this action is part of my plan for achieving some of my important personal goals. After wrapping up this video shoot, I got some more work done as well as engaged in some good human nature & achievement thinking. I’m excited about the momentum today has produced for me and am eager to get this video podcast episode published to the world. :D

Current Status Updates

Saturday @ 12:38am ET – Just finished shooting a new video about how I totally suck at presenting on video! Will be published soon. ;-)

Friday @ 10:30pm ET – How is accelerating change in technology, industry, & culture throughout the world going to create & destroy opportunity for you throughout your life? Are you even aware of this force?

Saturday @ 4:01am ET – Ignorance is bliss, but knowing is profound.

Saturday @ 6:38am ET – In a mechanical universe, selfishness does not always conflict with altruism. Ego does not always conflict with oneness. Do we live in a mechanical universe?

Journal for Thursday, May 13th, 2010

I got off my proper sleep schedule today and woke up late. However, that did not keep me from diligent production throughout my day. I continued writing more copy today for an big upcoming campaign for my strategy firm. I’m going to be recruiting some team members, so I spent a decent amount of time writing out job descriptions for the core roles I need filled. This took quite a while and I’m not done yet, but it is important to get it right. I’m kind of pissed off at myself for getting off my planned sleep schedule that I’ve been performing on lately. I’m going to need to invest more effort into this and try to beat it, if I can.

Today’s Notes

Friday @ 7:01am ET – Find pleasure in the bits of progress of what you are ultimately creating for yourself.

Friday @ 7:41am ET – I believe my long-term passion for entrepreneurship has been reignited under human influence as of this year. The money & business mechanics aren’t that exciting anymore, however, the psychology & mechanics of positive human influence could be a lifelong intellectual challenge of great complexity for me, along with great reward. This challenge also integrates personal & business goals via human influence with the subjects of human nature & human achievement, which are my favorites. :D

Journal for Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

Today was an awesome day of production, where I primarily accomplished a lot of copywriting for my new strategy firm campaign that is presently under development. It always feels good to make solid progress on a task that you feel is tough. All of this copy is going to be published on the company website for informational & marketing purposes. I’m pretty happy with it. I’m excited about what this venture & campaign are ultimately going to produce as far as value & earnings go. I think this could be a profound company at some point. I stayed up very late tonight, since I wasn’t tired enough to fall asleep, so this might screw with my sleep schedule that I’m on. I hope not. Good day of business productivity though.

Current Status Updates

Wednesday @ 8:24am ET – Just knocked out a solid workout of traps & calves. Ready to go kill it with diligent productivity today. Got to go study more accounting now.

Journal for Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

Enjoyed the rainy day today. Sometimes cloudy, rainy days are energizing to me, especially in the springtime. I’m finding my non-rotating day schedule to be challenging. It is going to take more commitment from me to sustain this predictably. Today, I fell back asleep for a couple hours after my alarm went off, even after taking a shower this morning. I need to shift up my environment during the morning & really commit to this new schedule. I naturally get energized at night, so this is another big part of the challenge for me here.

Throughout the day & night, I worked pretty hard on the website development for a big upcoming campaign for my strategy firm. Spent the day really getting the website template fine-tuned & built. Next up will be web server setup, copywriting, legal documents, & marketing assets. I’ve got a lot on my plate right now with this and my recent content creation commitment that I need to move on. Got to step up the production now! ;-)

Today’s Notes

Tuesday @ 6:04pm ET – Don’t mistake passion for true commitment.

Tuesday @ 11:40pm ET – Courageously pursuing what is right, meaningful, healthy, & pleasurable for you in life is worth the rejection you may face from others, including those people that you care for who once sang your praises. Don’t accept their hate. Drown them out with loving your life. :D
