Today I wrote off the osCommerce development for now. I will go back to it a little later if it still makes sense or hire it out soon but right now I am working on gearing up to acquire assets. I am still planning to launch some web projects soon but they will be communities and blog sites first. I am going to hire the development of those out since it involves creating functionality.

I may join a business opportunity where I can broker real estate mortgages. It would be a side income stream where I’d try to turn a semi-passive profit through advertising while continually optimizing the ads. But my real plan that still seems to be where I should focus my efforts this year is in business and/or real estate investing. The web projects and other opportunities will just be a couple safety nets just in case things bomb with the investing. I am down to proving to myself that business investing is better than real estate investing for me, which I think I will find that to be true. Within a couple weeks I should have a decision on how I will allocate my efforts and capital between the two.
