Journal for Thursday, December 31st, 2009
Wow, what a jam-packed day! I wokeup this morning around 4:00am ET and started developing and preparing to launch Open Achievement tonight and worked about 12 hours straight to do so. Around 6:00pm ET, I then attended a New Year’s celebration and had fun joking, laughing, playing games, talking philosophy, being sick, and nearly falling asleep since I was so tired by the end of the night. At the stroke of midnight 1/1/2010, after a lot of challenges for over a year since its founding, Open Achievement was officially launched and is now open to the public. I’m super excited about Open Achievement and it is probably my absolute favorite company to date that I’ve started. I can’t wait to build it into a success, since it is entirely based on my passions and intellectual curiosity, and is poised to potentially change the world. I’m really looking forward to 2010 for several reasons, since I have built up a lot of momentum to achieve and experience some great things. Happy new year!
