In my Daily Journal I keep you updated with how I am doing on a daily basis. Check back at the end of each day to see how my day went.
Today I finished up my websites and officially launched them on midnight 1-1-2007! I was bummed though because my website software for brianwatkins.com crashed in the last hour before the launch. All of my blog posts were not visible due to this. I still launched though and you could see a lot of the new content I produced for today. I’ll probably soon have to take the site down for a bit to solve this. The other sites I launched today are live as well including Buyout Rookie and Change The World Club. Check them out!
So it was New Years in Vegas today. This means a wild time in this town. After I dealt with my website tonight I made sure to go out for New Years. The Las Vegas Strip was closed down for tons of people who were out in the streets all along the strip. It was pretty crazy here. At midnight there were fireworks launched from many places along the strip.
So 2006 is over and 2007 is here. I am extremely optimistic about this next year. I wrote up a 2006 year review article in the new Brian Watkins Magazine here. I have a lot of big things that I am working on and am dead-set to get results in. Happy New Year and get ready for an extreme year! ![]()

Like most recent days, I worked most of the day on web development and content writing for my website launchings on New Years. Today I solved a huge technical issue with my content management system that I’d been stuck on for months. I would have had to leave out a big feature of my websites had I not luckily derived a hack to solve it. I’m really excited about showing you my work soon. I think it will help you see more truths about me.

It was about sixty degrees fahrenheit and sunny today so I decided to layout by the pool as I worked on writing content for my website on my handtop. That is kind of cold to me still after being in Vegas this summer. It was nice though. I was able to get a lot done on the first issue of the Brian Watkins Magazine. I probably won’t be able to make the presentation great yet so I will hold off for a little bit and incorporate that later. I decided to substitute in a magazine for my newsletter concept. This way I can offer a lot more to you.

I found a couple new books on high finance that are good. In the past year high finance has become a passion of mine. I can’t even say the word normally anymore. I have to say it in a pompous way whenever I mention it. Haha, I have fun with it.
Buyouts, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Rollups, Corporate Bonds, LBOs, Venture Capital, Divestitures, Corporate Credit, you name it, I like it. ![]()

Today I was getting a lot of inspiration from other people, mainly on MySpace, to create personal brand content. There is just something about sharing yourself with the world that makes me feel a sense growth and connection. I’m really inspired by what I am doing in life and feel great about sharing it with you. If I had other artistic skills, like singing, I’d probably do that in some way too. I think I could do well at acting so I am going to create a movie in the future.

I’m thinking a lot about my concept of Wealth Building lately. I haven’t found anything more governing out there in the financial world. I’m preparing some of the content I’ve written this year for release in my Wealth Building Blog throughout 2007. I haven’t put it out there for other professionals to hack at yet but we will see what they have to say as time goes on. It looks very solid to me, even after a year of finalizing its conclusion.

Even though it is Christmas I can’t allow myself to take a break. If I did I would not have as much fun! Yeah, that’s right I’m working on Christmas. When you have extreme passion and purpose for what you do in life then working is one of the most fun things you could spend your time doing. Most of what I do is intellectual. That is where Wealth Builders personally get the most results.
Las Vegas doesn’t have much decoration throughout the city that I’ve noticed. I kind of like that for a change. I’m more of a minimalist so I never decorate my place. It can be fun though.

I took my office on the road today out to several spots around Las Vegas. I went to a spot that reminds me of Hawaii and to a few other places. I hit the gym with my ipod shuffle and had a good focused workout. In the evening I was in an awesome state of mind and pushed out some nice content and strategies. I love what I do! I’m damn good at it too.

Today I got to connect with some family members through the phone at a Christmas party back in Michigan. It was good to be able to do that. I put them all on warning for my upcoming content at brianwatkins.com that will be awesome. I continued to work on that today as well.

I had another productive day of writing personal brand content and preparing my websites for launch. There are so many tedious things that go along with it. Seeing it all come together is awesome though. This launch on New Years will take my online presence to a new level. I’m proud of what I’m making here.
