In my Daily Journal I keep you updated with how I am doing on a daily basis. Check back at the end of each day to see how my day went.
After going out to eat, on our way back home Lisa spotted a highway sign for Los Angeles…her favorite place. She suggested that we should take a spontaneous one day trip to LA. She even turned into a saleswoman an used my mobile office technology to support the outcome she wanted. I secretly wanted to go too but I made her push more of her reasoning on me first. I said “NO! I will not go for one day for your reasons! I will go for many days for my reasons! Now let’s go pack!” (then I showed a big grin to my sis)
So we drove from Las Vegas to Los Angeles that night…but!…on the way I was stopped by the boys in blue or in this case brown outside of Los Angeles, California. Yes, I was speeding. I was pretty certain I was going to get a big fat ticket on the way but I didn’t care. I even took a picture of my speedometer while cruising to LA. (see below) The dude threatened to take me to jail right on the spot. I used some of my newer communication skills to indirectly calm the cop down and get him in a little more forgiving mood. He ended up giving me a ticket. There wasn’t much I could do to sway him since I had been going 105 MPH and they had to chase me through traffic for a while since they couldn’t catch up. All in all it was a fun experience for my first time ever being pulled over. It made for an interesting blog post…right?!
When we arrived in Los Angeles we drove around LA and the Hollywood areas. Then I headed to the coast via Sunset Blvd. Once there, I headed south on the coast and ended up at Venice Beach where we stayed the night. There were a lot of people sleeping on the beach but I thought it would be wiser to get a hotel room, although some interesting things may have happened out there.
Now check out the pic!

I like the feel of the Palms so we went back there to work today. After we completed our work we went to a movie at the theater there in the Palms as a reward.

I took my sister to one of my favorite offices today… The Fashion Show Mall in Vegas. There I hammered out some copy writing. Lisa was more into the retail stores all around us. I told her to focus on the income first before she splurges on crap.

Today I woke up late but made up for it by working hard throughout the evening. We went to the Palms and the Bellagio to work. I got a lot done and worked well past midnight. Earlier we restocked on food and while at the market my sister pointed out a girl who looked like a celebrity named Mena Suvari. I shrugged my shoulders and said “She’s cute”. Lisa saw her giving an autograph to someone later on so then she got excited and had me take a picture of them. She asked me why I wasn’t excited…I’m not moved by celebrities like most people…unless they are looking for a nice secured, low risk investment of course. ![]()

Today was the last day of the Anthony Robbins event and was all about health. They teach an alkalizing diet. I haven’t studied it much but it at least seems a lot healthier than typical American’s way of eating. I made sure to get to the airport early this time so we wouldn’t miss our flight. We took a plane from San Jose to Phoenix and then one from Phoenix to Las Vegas. I like hoping around to different places. I can’t wait until I can do it on a consistent basis. After we got back in Vegas I still had a lot of energy so I dragged my sister out to a restaurant and a movie. It was an awesome weekend but now I have a lot to catch up on including an inbox stuffed with a few hundred emails.

Day three of four at the Tony Robbins event was amazing. Do you see a recurring theme here? I met some great new people in the Platinum Partnership thing today after the event. We very briefly met Tony and Sage Robbins. Sage struck up a conversation with me. She mentioned that they were looking for a home out by Lake Las Vegas. I responded with “Me too.” You could tell by her physiology that she thought I was bullshitting her. It is even normal for very wealthy people be unaware of how someone at age 21, who is not yet a millionaire, could acquire a $25,000,000 mansion. She obviously wasn’t aware of who she was talking to. ![]()

Today was another awesome day at the live Anthony Robbins event in San Jose. I decided to join his Platinum Partnership program tonight. This will be very interesting and it will hopefully push me in a couple unexpected ways. It is more of an instant solution before I have the resources to build my own extreme personal development system.

Today was the first day of the Tony Robbins event. It was good to see and talk to friends from last time. My sister seems to be getting a lot out of it. At the end of the day we went through the fire walk. That was pretty cool. I made sure to walk extra slow across it so I could really feel it. Lisa made sure to run after Tony after the fire walk to give him a big hug even though his bodyguards were trying to keep people away from him…of course she was successful. ![]()

My sister and I flew from Las Vegas to San Jose today for this weekend’s live Anthony Robbins event. I haven’t been on an airplane for six years so I thought 30 minutes would be enough time to check in at the airport for our flight…I was wrong. We missed our flight so we had to take a later one. They only had first class tickets left so we got to ride in style which only consisted of nicer chairs, more leg room, and peanuts. It was worth the extra $50 bucks though. Maybe when I have a private jet I can arrive to the airport at the last minute ok.
Once we got into downtown San Jose I instantly fell in love with the city! I absolutely love this place and do not want to go back to live in Vegas. I think this may be Silicon Valley where I am at but am not sure. There are a lot of trees mixed in with the buildings and the people are high tech. About half of them program with Ruby on Rails and have the latest gadgets here. I’m a little more on the bleeding edge of high tech though and I noticed a lot of people eying my personal technology.
We went to restaurants, a concert in the park, a movie, and walked around downtown until about 2am tonight. It even feels safe here on the streets at night. What is the worst someone going to do here…curse at me for being a Windows user? ![]()

The biggest thing that came out of today is my sister and I developed a plan for her short-term future in 2006. I will be helping her achieve it and am extremely excited to give her a life that she will love!
