It’s official! After months and months my new personal website brianwatkins.net has gone public! It is only right that it launched on Midnight 1-1-2006! I am happy that I delayed the launch until I was able to create & maintain a top notch website and I think you will say it was worth it as well. I’ve put a lot of effort into planning and developing my website. It is great now but I guarantee it will be unbelievably better later in 2006. My personal website will be receiving continuous improvements along with its consistently fresh premium content.There are plenty of live components that currently make this website very good. First off I have integrated a simple & clean template that looks good and allows for easy movement throughout the website. My site navigation structure was carefully considered and in the end I choose to list every main website component as a link in the main navigation area. I think it made the website more usable and fit the look better than any other structure.

Currently, on the main index page holds the introduction to me and my site. Next on the navigation bar is the About Me page. Here you can find out the most important things about me. I’ve also included a link to my article about College & Entrepreneurs. Then in the navigation comes my blogs. I’ve debuted my website with my Entrepreneurship Blog and my Personal Blog. They will both be updated regularly with high quality content which can be consumed through my website or your favorite RSS reader. You can find links to my RSS Feeds and other blog features in the Blog Bar of all my blogs. My Guestbook is the same one that came from my previous brianwatkins.net mini-site. It has been updated to fit in with my new website’s style. I’ve created a Newsletter signup page that tells gives you a chance to signup and receive it through email. Next is a link to this section, Site News. Here I log all of the significant updates and improvements for my site. My Links page where you will be able to find important links to people and resources I consider to be of value. Next is the best way to get a hold of me. Through the contact form on my Contact Me page. If you ever want to ask or tell me something then here is where you should go. Finally, for search engines and for people who like them I have created a Site Map so every part of my website can be easily found as it gets bigger.
